i'd be tempted to get something like paper mario to go with it too as that is the kinda game a lady would probably like.

wii play is good value too as you get an extra controller and a load of mini games. good for playing with mates or the missus as they are all really simple.

HMV had some good deals on at one point and by the time I paid for the console and deal etc and signed up for a games reward card I pretty much got another game for free due to the money off with the reward points.
