BHP boost

What will the bhp be on my mk 1 172 if i have a green freeflow cotton air filter and k tec full cat back. Will it be pushing out 177 a gain of 5 bhp ?

prob not far off that, the exhaust will amke you more power if its also got a de-cat, an open IK will lose you power though

Saw a k tec full cat back and said a + of 8 bhp . Sounds a bit to good but with a green cotton air filter ( a panal air box one ) + 5 bhp sounds about right .

difficult to say mate, prob not far off with 5bhp, witht the cat off you rlooking at a more!

The 172 isnt actually 172 bhp, there have been sh*t loads of discussions on this, its more like 156 if i remember correctly

Fuc*ing Renalut robbing me of all the horses dam french rubish but with only 156 it still feles like 200 + and sod all you lot my cars going to have 177 and that is final : )

No they range from about 160-166bhp
