Big ends and Mains, torque settings?

Hello,

Just building my low comp turbo F4R engine back up but I'm not 100% sure what the torque settings are?

Can anyone help?

i wouldnt imagine tuners would be having f4r bottem ends in bits that often so would be quite hard to remember

LOL, I know... I would of thought that someones done a bottom end re-build themselves? Surely not everyone goes to tuners for this kinda stuff? :nono:

its not in the haynes for the F4R

according to auto data its 20nm then 40 degrees

Just in case anyone else ever does a bottom end.

This is for F4R 730 engine. I would expect the F4Rs (172 & 182) are the same

Main Bearings (On the Crank) Renew bolts, Stage 1 (20nm), stage 2 (62 degrees +/- 4 degrees)

Big end bearings (On the piston) Renew bolts, Stage 1 (20nm), stage 2 (40 degrees exactly).
