ive done both of my cars. iv done the silver one silver and the rb one rb on the front. i think it gives it a cleaner look. as for the back the silver car has a carbon one with a colour coded button. its a nicer touch than the black plastic

painted mine. Front diamond must pops off with gentle prising. There rear one requires the boot handle to come off to do it properly but its only 3 x10 mm nuts to undo and unhook the boot release.

I plastidipped mine. Took 5mins Max. Job done, easy!

I've seen carbon dipped badges on eBay for £10 too

Plastidip. Did mine around 8 months ago and they are still perfect. It's matte black and great finish. Just make sure you dry around and under the badges thoroughly as if any water seeps from behind it can cause bubbles. Do really thin coats every 10-15 minutes, about 5 -6 coats.
