I just thought i`d post this and let everyone know who`s interested in standing about in Blackpool, watching noisy rally cars raving round on the tarmac??

I have never been to watch a rally, and this one(which is next week..9th febuary). If anyone knows any details about this event then please post here as i only know of Fleetwood Waterfront being the only spectator area.

Depending where you go most of it is On Street parking... Id of said you could leave your car on my drive and walk up (only live 2 mins away from the prom stage) but its alreadu going to be rammed with cars!

I might go to the Preston stage aswell... need to have a butchers where it is though... last year part of the stage was restricted for spectators if i remember correctly

Yeah it was a decent spot, really surprised at the amount of folk there too! Evo looked spot on too, my fave Evo out of them all :)

Cheers Martin! She's not flawless by any means, but she still looks the part!

The Evo X is definitely growing on me. I wasn't keen at first, but it definitely has that subtle/aggressive look going on. I'd like to have a go of one to see how much difference there is in the drive of the X now that it's the first Evo not to be powered by the venerable 4G63.

I would have suggested that if you liked the rallying at the weekend, then try the Chatsworth Rally. But it seems to have gone downhill in recent years and I don't think it's even on the calendar for 2013? My first visit about four years ago, was my favourite.

You need to get out into the forests, that's where rallying "is at"....I'm actually in the lucky position to compete in a lot of the local (Cumbria and Scottish Borders) rallies in an N10 Prodrive built Impreza or a Mk2 Escort and love it, but it was fantastic to get out and spectate for a change, and really enjoyed it.

it was a pretty good event wasnt it... i was nearly lazy and drove up the road to park on the prom but i got blocked in on my drive :D

We stood by the area where they were all attempting to handbrake :D

Think im going to the malcolm wilson rally , been told thats pretty good , has anybody been?

The Malcolm Wilson is fantastic, I'll be competing once again, 5th year doing it now. Personally I'd suggest either of the Grizedale stages or Hobcarton to spectate.

Didn't see this thread before the event. Spotted plenty of cs's out and about but i was more focused on the job at hand. I was out in car 56 (Blue Pug 206), it was a great event from inside the car and i hope it was as good for the spectators. There seemed to be plenty about, going along the prom on the Prom on Friday night was special with all the camera flashes.
