Bloody typical

Ok so the other night I was looking out the window at the local yobbo's who were chucking things as usual, thinking to myself "If that hit's my car.." and lo and behold a stray etc clouted the drivers side.

I ran out and they ran off, but as it was dark it looked luckily that it had just hit the drivers window. I took some warm water out and got most of it off in the dark and thought I'd escaped luckily.

On closer inspection the next morning I was shocked to see it had caught about an inch of the door, not impressed. One of the bloke's I work with, his father owns a bodyshop and said I could be hard pressed to get it out without a respray, even less impressed.

I thought I could do with a second/third/whatever opinion on it, so here are a couple of pics. Please any advice/tips are appreciated!

It's a pain and does stand out a bit, really pissed off 'cos it's a 55 plate brand new and I didn't even cause it myself. Gutted.

...or is that just in Warrington?

do you have any pics that show the whole damaged area...might be easier for someone to give you advice that's all. :)

Try this one, I know its minimal and I'm being fussy but it's annoying yknow. Ignore the look on my face, 10:30 on a Sunday, you're lucky I'm actually up.

Imagine it, like a large fingerprint. It's that sort of texture so to speak. Like loads of tiny little pin pricks in a circle. Really annoying.

Alright, cheers. Wouldn't believe an egg could do so much damage. Guess it just must have been the impact of the shell. Cheers guys

Even with a machine polish egg damage very rarely polishes out. For some reason goes very very deep, right down to the primer/metal, and nothing bar paint ever sorts it 100% :(
