I gave the car (172 Cup)to a motorsport firm to strip it out. The car came back to me, it was the summer and i had no need to put the blower on to clear the windows. Later on in the year i turned the blower on and nothing happened. I subsequently went away for a year, forgot about it and then on my return gave the car back to them. I did a bit of googling, and found that it could be a module that has blown that you can access under the plastic bit below the window wipers. I sent them the instruction off the net on how to either solder it or send it away on ebay to be fixed.
They took the car apart and then reported to me that the module is missing...WTF, very odd, what could have happened. I havent got the car back so haven't been able to check. The blower was definitley working before. So........
a) They removed it when stripping the car
b) Someone nicked it in the dead of night
c) I sent them the wrong instructions for a module that isn't present in my car
d) They're being a bit stoopid
Any other idea's, seems odd to me!
