Bluetooth in a 200?

Car  RS200
im thinking of speccing this option has anyone had this in a previous 197 model? if it was even available i just want to see if its a decent system and if its worth £275

Thanks

My mate has it on his cup and it does the job. When someone rings, radio cuts out & you can speak.

thanks mate i know its a bit of a stupid question but i know sumtimes manufactures really mess things like that up

Yeh i know what you mean... You could alternativly consider not speccing it, and buying an aftermarket Alpine unit as they can also come with integrated bluetooth!

I've got the Parrot CK3100 in my 197 which was fitted afterwards by my employer. It works really well and is the same system they would have fitted in the factory I believe. I'd get a quote from Parrot for a kit and if it's cheaper, get them to do it after. What system is it renault are saying they'll install?

yeah its an idea but then it might leave me with a big bit of plastic bluetooth kit on the dash.. i dunno i think im getting excited and trying to spec everything.
The 200 comes with loads of stuff as standard anyway. i,ll just have to wait till i stop to ring people like ive always done

If i was buying a clio 200 I would spec everything within reason... However, £275 for a bluetooth kit i would be a little dubious.

If you look at the clio dash, on the far right and left hand side of it there are two small speekers/tweeters. Not sure what they do though. Think they are just speekers :o

get a parrot kit they look smart, small, and do the job, £89 for the colour one i do believe

The Renault system in the 197 is an add-on (I think), not incorporated into the stereo. That's the question you need to ask primarily to find out if you get a dash mounted system. If you do, they don't look bad. Mine's by the indicator stalk on the dash and don't really notice it. People usually have them there or by the cup holders under the stereo. I think it's a bargain, the sound clarity and operating system are very good, well worth the extra.

The Bluetooth is one of the best options that i ticked. It works superb, and when the person is ringing, it tells them that you're driving. The whole menu can be operated from the steering wheel controls.

It is incorporated. I think you're talking about the Tunepoint?

Yeah, perhaps. The system in my car was done afterwards, but a brand new car I looked at had the same system I ended up with. Go figure. Either way, bluetooth is a must if tempted to phone whilst driving. I could happily punch every man, woman and chav I see driving whilst on the phone. Particularly when you see people in BM's and Merc's doing it.

I have a parrot 3100 im my 182.
