BMC Air Filter

Am just wondering if any 1 knows if I was to put a BMC air filter on my 172 would it sound any better? And what sort of performance I would get out of it. If any one has one fitted could you let me no what it is like please as am thinking of getting 1.

got one on mine sounds very good. performance a little more responsive, instrunctions are not very good as they supply a hose dia. 4" 2 long, and without cutting metal in engine bay this cannot be fitted!!!!

Not much else to say but it looks much like the standard air box was the only reason i brought this product!!!!
