BMC CDA (again)

Car  20VT Clio & 9-5 HOT

Gonna get one for my 16v. I can get one and can also get the adaptor made up by the end of the week. The company making the adaptor wants to know the length and size of pipes, adaptors, degree bends. Does anyone know this before I start to measure up?

Is this from Steve How who made mine? If so he should know. If not I would try Steve as mine fits fine and they knocked up the adaptor so should be able to get others made.

Yeah I think its the same guy. How much was it mate? They never gave me a price without the above details. What exactly does the BMC CDA come with and what will I need from this steve guy extra?

Cheers for the help

p.s is it worth the $$$

Sorry, out on an all afternoon piss up yesterday.

BMC supply the filter and bracket to attach the CDA top somewhere. So little room you dont need the bracket as mine is wedged up to the battery. Silicone hose is needed. Steve got some SFS stuff that is apparently better than Samco. This was just under/over 90 degrees I think. Finally an adaptor to bolt on to the throttle body with enough of a lip for the silicone hose to attach.

Job done for about £210 I think. Which is good compared to the price of a Viper (£210) then the cost of an adaptor, hose etc.....

If they need me to go down so that they can remeasure evrything I dont mind. If this will make it wasier for more to be made.

Seems you seem to be the only one interested though mate!

Im hoping to buy the one from coolspot now. If not ill let you know mate. Thanks for the help.

Cheers

Craig
