BMC CDA question

I just got my BMC CDA induction kit.

Do I just bolt it straight on, or do I have pre oil the filter like a panel filter?

How does the BMC CDA compare to the Viper or Pipercross?

Very similar if its setup correctly. Ive tried both and I perfer the Viper. The BMC lost some low end grunt in my opinion..
