BMC??

  PH2 172
Are BMC filters any good for the clio cup or would i be bette rof putting in a itg panel filter?

i had a bmc on mine,it felt like it killed the car,so i put my standard filter back in and wow what a difference, the i ended up putting a itg panel filter in,not much difference just the sound really, but bottom line is bmc killed my car, couldnt find a decent route for caf

BMC is fine on mine, sounds good and looks good too. Make sure you get a decent CAF to it though

Bmc looks great, no real gain just noise, ive taken off my caf as there is direct air flow between the top of the slam panel and rad. Just to make sure it was a good cold air flow i went for a fast drive for 25 minutes and the silicone unduction bend was cold as was the inlet. Different story in the summer tho:(

yeah might try mine without the feed, i thought it would be warm off the rad though. ITG panel filter is always a good cheap way

i got bmc on mine with decent caf and not lost any power. Well not that i can tell. Sounds and looks good to.

the BMC airboxes are very good, its just the standard cold air feed that ruins them as it creates turbulance.... With a smoother CAF (made from metal ideally otherwise silicon) they would be much better.

im running mine without a caf at the mo and its fine the noise it makes is great

No Caf, Heat soak and noise for the win.

Lol :)

Like it'll make much of a difference on a 172/182 (a proper air feed).

Haha

It aint like were turbo'd running silly bhp...

I was dubious about putting mine on due to sooking in hot air :(
So settled with standard airbox c/w ITg Panel Filter with a direct lower grill feed minus acoustic valve :)
