Bonding glue?

I need something to bond the carbon part to the plastic part of my exhaust surround. Preferably something that can stand the heat of the exhaust.

I have looked at that and some other stuff but just thought I'd ask on here incase I fit it then it falls off down the road.

I've got some epoxy resin, the stuff that comes in two tubes and you have to mix it together. I keep trying to use it to secure a clip to a panel on my motorbike (plastic to plastic) and it just keeps snapping off. I don't think there's too much force on it.

I need some super mega glue.
