i suppose its a good idea for running a car to/from shows etc to keep the chipping minimal, but not as an everyday thing.

and iirc water can get trapped behind it and ruin your paintwork?

Bonnet's stone chipped to sh*t but the bumpers fine.

I admit there are a few stone chips on the bumper, but no way near as much as the bonnet.

They don't seem such a stupid idea to me tbh.

ran one on my 225 for a few years all the talk of water trapping is garbage.mine served a purpose may not look good but did what i wanted it too.im looking into getting one on the clio only to stop the bloody chips on the leading edge of the bonnet

useless imo, look terrible and may reason to fit it is to stop the car getting stone chips, which look bad.........but fitting the bra looks worse imo. so live with the chips and spray the front end every few years!lol!

Thats not a fact...

My bonnet is covered in stone chips, more than my bumper and if i had a bonnet bra fitted, my bonnet would still be fine.

Going off my car's paintwork I agree, but my mates 172 Cup has loads of bumper stone chips and barely any bonnet stone chips. :S

Aye Ade, im not saying that the bumpers dont get damaged, but to say its fsct that they do no good what so ever and the bumpers get more chips is pretty retarded or trolling.
