Bonnet in boot?

  PH1 172
Anybody know if a bonnet off a Clio mk2 ph1 will fit in the boot of the same car?

Would measure myself but in a rush this morning lol

Needed to keep both so one had to be transported. Had to leave it in the end as the stupid traffic on the M25 on saturday through my schedule at the window.......

They definitely do fit. Me and John put his old bonnet in his boot (along with loads of other standard parts) after he'd had his ITB's fitted.
You've just got to put it into the boot at a slight angle (it's slightly wider than the opening is). Once through it'll lay down flat.

Will keep this in mind if I do get round to picking it up...cheers
