How much do you want to spend/hp do you want to get?

You can get anwhere upto 350hp on a 182 engine normally aspirated but thats megga money. Turbo work well 600hp is a good target but gaian pricy.

There are companies lik GDi/Angelworks/Yozzasport who sell kits or can talk you though what you want from the car.

Depending what you want to spend as I said and what you want from the car depends on what you buy a track car your best off spending on brakes, suspension and tyres. Infact in most cases this is your best option.

Renaultsport have a website for parts but its usless since the part numbers only work on the continet and there still very pricy. Plus they don't see many HP tunning bits. There stuff is for the group N rally cars and Cup racers which arn't right for a 172/182.

For £4.5k I'd personally talk to benR about cams, 182 exhaust manifold, individaul throttle bodies, exhaust, induction kit (viper would be best), head work, remap and you should be around 230hp or so. Then you have to decide if you wan to go with different pistons/rebuilt engine/balanced bottom end also bigger engine ie 2.2 etc.

I think BB and Ktec do the turbo kits and one of them supplys a DIY kit so if you want to fit it yourself you could have it done for £4k or so. There was a forum member a while back did the work themselves.

If you want best value for money then leda coilovers 4 pot brakes then spend the rest on track time, learning how to realy drive and good tyres.
