Boot not locking.

Just found out when I lock the car the boot is not locking and can still open it.
Its not coming up on the dash saying the boots open and its not mislocking.


Had any one else had this problem?
What was the fix?

I have had problem on other cars like this and its been the latch. Is this likly to be the same?

I had this problem and the alarm was sounding also when i locked my car and it was down to this.

Cheers ill have a look tomorrow night and see what I can find I have had problem with my boot on and off for two years now but never realised it werent locking. Wonder if its been like that all this time.

Pop the boot panel off and you will need to be careful incase you lose any parts as the boot locking rod and things is all in there also.

I bought my 182 like it. Just changed the locking mechanism as it just stopped working. Cheap and cheerful from Adam
