Boot not recognised as opened?

Hi, I just unlocked my car, opened the boot and the car locked itself as if i didnt open any door and the boot logjt doesn't turn on, any ideas?

Sounds like you need a boot solenoid

I changed it like 4 months ago because the boot wouldn't lock. Now it unlocks and locks but can't tell when it's open or closed

I doubt it's the latch as i changed it mike 4 months ago. Also, the boot does lock and unlock

Indeed. I had a bad uch that said boot open all the time.

The lock is not related to the boot open microswitch. Its either switch, wiring or uch get your test meter out

Check the multi plug behind the nsf kick panel trim , bonnet pull trim
