Boot release help!

So the boot catch was rattling a month or so ago so I decided to move the catch back slightly to tighten things up - problem solved - or so I thought! Now instead of a rattle every time I unlock the car the boot pops open! :S


Tried moving the catch back to where it was to no avail - anyone experienced similar or have any ideas what this could be????
