John Harris - just tell him that Sylvia recommended you. He is getting to know quite a few Clio guys now and is a very friendly, helpful guy. If you phone him and he is not at his desk or maybe at lunch, leave a message on his answerphone and he will call you back.

Hoses are just hoses. AFAIK all the road kits that Goodridge do are the same bore and length, its just a question of whether you need 2 or 4.

The Clio 16v and Willy use the same calipers as the R5 GTT. Thats all I know about that.

My Goodridge hoses have always worked perfectly.

earls do hoses and most tams use themas there custom made.

the GTT, 16V, RT can all use the same hoses, my RT on a 16V setup uses std hoses.

right, so that means i could get those K-Tec hoses then

are you 100% about that mate ?

i changed my RT solid discs for clio 16V, willliams, GTT, calipers and vented discs.

im using the std RT hoses and they fit the same.

i would assusme they fit

  Skoda Fabia vRS

right then, if u wer usin solid discs before then thats the same setup as mine

so they must have the same fitting, the guy at K-Tec was pretty sure they would fit but didnt wanna put money on it

ill probably order some when i get home from work then

ive spoke to K-Tec again and based on your info Ben hes pretty sure it will fit

if not i can have my money back

  Skoda Fabia vRS

how much would it cost to have all the hoses changed at a garage ?

reckon it could be done in an hour ?

  Skoda Fabia vRS

hey Ben......i checked out Goodridge and they list different kits for the 16v/Williams and other Clios

can you think of any reason why ?.....as if the RT ones fit the 16v caliper then it cant be the fitting, unless its the other end ??

  Skoda Fabia vRS

hmmm black diamond do hoses aswell

which to choose

ive emailed Goodridge about why they list two types

its just so they have a more completelist and dont confuse people. WHy do brake pad companies list different pads for the R5 Gtt, clio 16V and williams if there all the same?

Just phone rally design and ask for a set of braided brake lines for a clio 16v. They will say they are made to order and will take up to 3 weeks. You say, Ok thanks and pay then hang up...£40 poorer. No probs.

If these are your main concern your doing well!

eheh...

I have valver clippers, 1.4/valver/willy pads and willy discs.

all of them are exactly equal to the willy. ate least in the catalogue it is.
go figure...
