Brake dilemma

Car has just failed its MOT on front pads being too low, and they have advised on rear pads being replaced soon.

So i'm in the dilemma of what to do, do i just let the garage fit me some replacement front pads for now, or should i get some aftermarket ones?

what do people suggest, and how much are we talking, its a phase 2 172

standard ones are ok imo, unless your urgrading disks etc wouldnt bother

Standard disc and pads fine for road use.

Only need uprating if you go on track imo

not great brakes on 1*2s, but they'll do for road normally (unless you really beaning it round somewhere like milton keynes with loads of roundabouts in quick sucession.)

depends how much they want for standard pads and whether or not you can pick up aftermarket ones locally, or if you can wait for aftermarket ones to be delivered
