Brake Fluid

I know what's fitted as standard however I'd like some recommendations for uprated fluids from people that have used them, brands of DOT4 will also vary in quality/performance so I'd like to hear what people are using.

I know a couple of people on here have tried different fluids and have raved about them just haven't been able to find the threads.

That's exactly why I'm looking to uprate it.

Was aware of the 5.1 bleed problem from experience with our race cars.

I've always used Castrol Response Super Dot 4. Seems good enough to me, although i havent really bothered to try anything else.

well i couldnt find any castrol response super dot 4 around mine, so im using EBC 307 fluid

not put it in yet though so cant comment

Castrol response super dot 4 from Halford if you can find it but its not cheap but you pay for what you get. The normal castrol stuff isn't bad I've had few problems.

Castrol super Dot4 is what you want, best all round fluid.

And it is cheap, halfords just rip you off for a ltr....even demon tweeks sell it for pennies.

Dont bother with 5.1 or 5 (Silicone fluid).
