Seeing as your only most likely to do rd work then std pads are more than fine.
Honestly.....going for racing or even incorrect performance pads with the wrong mu profile is worse for braking than std pads.
I run std pads on std discs with quality fluid and regular checks. Its served me fantastically on the rd and on the track. IN fact, 60 laps on the track in a day.
I really dont see a need for performance pads on the rd, and if you are getting pad pade and not boiling fluid (due to poor quality or old fluid) then typically as a driver your relying on the brakes too much.
