Brake Pads

  Broken Diesel Megane :(
Anyone tell me if the yellowstuff or greenstuff brake pads are any good for my 172 cup. have got grooved discs on it so was looking to get these too. worth it? cheers

Greenstuff are great for fast road use, but they're quite soft.
If you do the odd trackday/drive like a loon, then go for Redstuffs. They're a bit harder, so will last longer, although they're not so great from cold as the Greenstuffs.
IIRC, Yellowstuffs are like full race pads, so probably not that suitable for you matey.
A good alternative to Redstuff is of course Ferodo DS2500, which are outstanding.

ok thanks not heard of the redstuffs before so will have a look for them. lol not done any track days yet but the driving like a loon sounds right.

it's mentioned that the greenstuff pads are quite soft.. does this mean they won't last as long as the original pads??

in terms of how long brake pads last depends on the driver

there's no real such thing as "soft" brake pads, just different material compounds
