Brake problems HELP!!!

  Abarth Grande Punto

hiya peeps,

I am drove off my drive this morning and get half way down the road and then bang underneath my car!! So I stop and get out and have a look underneath (my first though was that i have run over somerthing). It all looks fine. Then it keeps happening ever time I brake except now when I brake it bangs hard as if the pedal is connectd to the road!! The brakes are weak, i cant see any leaks and i keep getting variable pressure on the brake pedal. So i carefully take it home and at a stand still the back brake drums click when I apply the brakes!!

I am not that techy, but i know something isnt right!! Has anyone else come across this? My poor old car is sitting on the drive an is going no where!!

Any ideas?? :(

The same thing happened to me, its you rear drums. You need to replace the cylinders they have blown and all their doing is quirting brake fluid into the drums. You might also find that you handbrake light comes on!

Get them fixed ASAP otherwise you wont be able to stop!!!!!!!!!
