Are Brembo brake pads supposed to be crap?

  Titanium Clio 182FF
Hi all, I have put a new set of discs and pads up front on my 182, the brake pads are Brembo P 68 027 pads that I bought from Spareto (they say made in China on the box, and I know they're the budget Brembo pads but still), and my brakes don't bite amazingly at any temperature, and they overheat very quickly and begin to stink and fade on the street after a bit of spirited driving, they also feel wooden and like there's almost no feedback from the pedal. I have done a 4-corner brake bleed with fresh fluid. My old 1.4 8v with 1.4 16V 259mm vented discs and calipers even with cheap pads felt much better, a nice bite and progressive feeling in the pedal, I miss the feeling those brakes had. Could it be the pads, or something else perhaps? I didn't rebuild the calipers so they could also be sticking slightly.
