Loved every second! I do realise though I need better brakes and better tyres and sort the suspension. What a cracking day though!

Is he the fella that races them ? He came to chat with me, nice bloke! He hits 130 on the straight, I was touching 100 then on the brakes!

I also went on track for the first time last week in a standard Clio 182 and had good fun. I agree the brakes and suspension need upgrading (had reasonable tyres on so that one is covered).

Have you had any further thoughts on those upgrades? I'm thinking HC brembo discs on the front and maybe koni suspension kit may resolve the issues.

Pads will make a larger difference in braking performance than the discs

Worth doing both at the same time and perhaps doing the fluid and hoses also.

Thanks for the advice. I've just spoken to a friend who also said the same thing, new disks, pads, hoses and fluid in the new year...
