Breathe Easy

  Evo 8 MR
Finally got round to buying the last of the breather mods, an induction kit.

Dead simple to fit and excellent service provided by K-Tec once again.

I'm thinking of getting a cold air feed off ebay but I'm not sure where to route it from. Also I can't tell much difference between this and standard whilst driving normally, can hear it a bit when giving it the beans though, sounds and looks way better.

I'm coming to the end of my shortlist of modifications I planned to do when I bought the car and I expect to have them all done by this time next month, at last, then to start saving. :approve:

Feed from the bottom left of the upper grille, theres a removable plate thats there to protect the alternator i believe.
either modify to have the feed attached to the plate or just take it off :)

Bugger to fit though mines held up by electrical tape wrapped round the air con piping and a cable tie attached to a wire coming off the fan lol.

bodge ftw!

Thats the one that looks most obvious, theres no space anywhere else, will give it a go.

looks good, ul get lots of heat soak tho :(

To be fair, I'm not trying to get x amount more bhp, I'm just trying to get it to sound better and louder lol but after I went for a quick spin last night I opened the bonnet and it was surrounded by hot air. :(
