bridge bang oops :(

just went out for a drive and went over a humped back bridge and landed hard it sounded like what might i have done ??

Mine went in for a service today onlt to be told that my Master Brake Cylinder was leaking!!! Now that is never good

suspension bottoming out? more likely to be the front bumper tho. There is a large lump of metal just behind the front bumper could have been that too.

gutted saw a cossie do the exact same thing the whole zorst came out behind it and 1 hell of a lot of oil....

Thatll be the one, didnt pay that much attention to it when I was trying to change the oil by torch light on friday!

Id be careful. I bent mine (front subframe) on the Cup after a minor off-road excursion. Cost, including a lower steering arm was almost £800. Si.

Ive listened to it (audio recording!) and it sounds like the bumper. I distinctly remember how my Cup sounded on impact and its nothing like that. Should be fine mate. Dont worry.

Did they sort the banging? Which of the many different ones was it? Strut top mounts, battery holder, engine mounts? So far Ive driven 4 172/Cups and Ive made every single one of them knock under cornering. Renault have given up on mine!!
