Being a 172 owner and a biker as well I can understand where your coming from.
What I tend to find is that I'm a lot more serious about things on the bike though, because at the end of the day one c**k up could cost your life.
Whereas in the clio you can drive it like you've stole it, wherever and whenever you like, not having to worry about the crap weather we have over here, and still be quicker than a lot of other vehicles on the road.
At the end of the day, why complain, you have the best of both worlds. You've got a nice powerful bike for those rare dry days, and you've got one of the best hot hatches for all other occasions.
