Broken Lumbar Support

The metal nipple on the end of the lumbar support cable has sheared off leaving me with a no-working lumbar support mechanism, and a very soft seat. Does anyone know if the mechanism can be replaced on it's own, or whether the whole seat will need replacing? I can see that the mech is pop riveted on to the seat frame, so I am hoping that I can buy the mech separately & remove & replace the old one. Alternatively is there a way to fix the strapping so that it is permanently tight/stiff? Car is a 1.4 Dynamique+ if that makes any difference.

Please help as my back is knackered!

I had a broken lumber support and the guide was pretty useful, however for some reason my cable was different to the ones in the guide.

Not sure if the design was changed at some point (mine is a 182 on an 04 plate) but if you find that yours in different to th piccies in the guide just let me know and I'll post piccies of how I fixed mine.

This has just happened to my drivers seat! Like the original post the nipple has completely broken off. As above the guide is useful but it looks like there is at least half the nipple left so its a decent enough fix, however I have no nipple left at all!. Again, does anyone know if you can get the mechanism separately or does anyone have a fix?
