broken seat

hi guys my passenger seat is broken , it just slides backwards and forwards so ive took it out and 2 small pieces of metal fell out from the sliders , iv ebeen gettin a price for a used 1 and they wasnt £150 for it so i just thought if i just weld it together so it wont move at all will this b a prob for mot day or not ????

Sounds like you just need a set of new runners.

ClioSpares sell them. Very easy to change. £40 tops!


Just a case of putting the new ones on and dropping the seat back in. Common problem for them to go after a while. Or to jam up.

Interiors go for less than £100, who's quoted you £150 for a passenger seat?

Get a spare seat and runners from a scrappy and move the covers across, did this on my gfs 206 and took about an two hours, £30 parts and Peugeot wanted £800+
