browsing problem

started on IE7 and tried firefox, but both have the same problems on the computer. it says try internet connection, and URL etc but msn signs in so its not the connection, and none of the internet setting are out of the ordinary. anyone any ideas why this would happen? it did before but fixed itself. cheers

the internet connection seems to be fine, as msn signs in. but internet explorer wont display we pages and says there is no connection or the URL is wrong etc

Are you using a proxy server?

If not, got to tools, internet options, Connections, Lan settings and untick all the boxes.

Failing that, run spybot and adaware.
