Just been offered a deal but not sure about changing from sky anyone got it and opinions, also do u get free HD movies on the BT Vision

what they are probably talking about is all the streaming stuff, there is loads of content on there which you can stream, so no need to wait for it to download. (and there are no adverts)

Loads of movies, up-to-date ones too, and you get all the replay tv channels like 4od, fivereplay, itv and bbc iplayer.

Plus loads of other tv stuff and hd movies which do require a download.

I just pay for all the downloadable tv and replay stuff, soooooo much cheaper than sky but theres obviously less normal channels like no sky one etc but you do get setanta.

Anything thats us tv i get hold of anyway before its broadcast here so doesn't bother me.

The box itself is quite good, does series link and everything like that.

Sky is a ripoff imo, btvision + internet does me fine.

yes, it costs to download everything

and it also takes hours to download the hd content and will not stream at all

im moving in with some mates next week and they have bt vision. was watchin it earlier and for the prive it is brilliant.. (we are 18/29 yearolds so money is a problem lol) but along side freeview there are loads of films and tv programs (season 1-3 of lost for starters!!!) and you can watch it when ever. however i still prefere sky but we cant afford it so not bothered
