Bucket Seats

  Clio 172 Cup
172 Cup, needs to buckets, don't need to recline.

£500-£600 budget whats that get you these days?

Fancy all black or black and blue.

You think harnesses are a must or!?

Would my options be lighter then the current Cup seats at that sort of price?

Sparco Revs are what i have and i love them. Very supportave and very comfortable. You could maybe squeez them into you budget.

Ive got Bimarco Futuras, not sure they're in your budget.
For me, harnesses were a better option, but I could have run belts if I really wanted too. I tink some seats are better suited to belts than others:)

With bucket seats I run harness' purely as I prefer wearing them and with normal seatbelts I have a tendancy to not wear it. Would make the overall feel with some fixed-back buckets seats much more fun/comfortable...

I think the Harnesess look mint, and finish the seats off.

Do you remove the standard seat belt if you fit them?

Here's my Futuras :)

No problems, its not an everyday car so thats one reason why I did it, but tbh, even if it was an everyday car, it still wouldnt bother me!

lol, no not yet :)

The RS steering wheel is really good, however the blue bit at the top does fade :( It was the same colour as the belts, but now look at it!

Doesn't really bother me, but just thought I'd point that out :)

the thing i would say about bucket seats is sit in them before you buy them. ive had 4 different sets ranging from £109 to £800 each seat. also, think about the long term, you dont want something heavy if your going to track it at some point (if ur bothered about weight)

Cobra Misano's weigh an absolute f**king ton lol, i believe they weigh more than the Recaro's!

ive got cobra Imola S', if your a little porky you'd be better suited to the GT which is 30mm wider

harness' look the dogs with buckets, so gotta be done too :D

  182 Cup
No, mine's on highly specialised Mark Fish subframes - alloy box section. I sit a lot lower, nearly on the floor. No problem for me, but shorter passengers complain.
