budget polisher?? any suggestions neeed one asap

If you would have ordered today, it should have arrived probably the 1st or 2nd of december already!
Id say do it right and get a good hand polish from a detailing shop and not halfords, otherwise just stick with the SRP.

@JD-> Since my English isn't what it should be, i don't understand what "scepticisms put to rest lad" means, but seeing the smiley next to it I take it as a nice comment lol :)

I agree with the first bit!

Second bit, just means I doubt the polishers' abilities from previous trials, but I'm happy to have my doubts (scepticisms ;)) reversed :)

  soon to be 182 ;)
any other good cheap ish things on polished bliss you recommend if im going to put in an order??

Nothing is cheap in detailing lad. What else do you need? You need to put together a list of what you need, or get someone to do it for you.

Two buckets
Decent Shampoo
Decent towels
Quick detailer
Clay
Polish
Sealent/wax
Applicator pads
Polishing pads
MF buffing towels

Cheers :) I'll let you know when i have some first hand experience (since I think only first hand counts).

@Todd100-> There are a lot of different products on the PB site so I'm giving you some suggestions. They won't sell rubbish over there so probably all are good, but this is what would have my personal prefference (doesn't mean others products aren't right.)

Polish:
http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/menzerna-203s-cat8.html

Pad:
http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/lake-country-light-cut-hand-pad-cat24.html#aMasterLCHO0000

Towels:
http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/poorboys-deluxe-mega-towel-cat24.html
(take the 3-pack)

Wash mitt:
http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/easirider-lambswool-wash-mitt-cat3.html

Bucket 2x:
http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/melody-clear-wash-bucket-cat3.html#aMasterMECB0000

Shampoo:
http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/poorboys-super-slick-and-suds-shampoo-cat3.html (They don't sell the smaller bottle, but this goes a looooong way).

Drying towel:
http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/pb-luxury-drying-towel-cat5.html

Clay bar:
http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/poorboys-clay-bar-cat7.html

Spray and wipe:
http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/poorboys-spray-and-wipe-cat7.html

Wax:
http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/collinite-insulator-wax-845-cat13.html
(stay's on for at least a month or 4, which is unbeatable in that pricerange).

Foam pads:
http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/meguiars-foam-applicator-pad-cat24.html#aMasterMGFP0000
(take 2 or 3)

Obviously i must say there are probably cheaper places to shop (shinearama, clean your car), especially if they stock Mothers Wax, which has some great products for beginners (cheap claybar kit and shampoo) or Dodo Juice (Born to be Mild shampoo). But, with above products you should have enough supply for a year of detailing.

And ofcourse you have to read all the guide's on washing, drying, claying, polishing, waxing, etc!

The new dodo juice polishing kit is a bargain at 100 quid, defo buy that!

I wouldn't... it's not a bargain if you don't use all of the products...

My name aint JD, but the cloth looks rubbish. Besides that, it's important to purchase a good clay bar that doesn't leave marring or noticeable scratches on your paint. Perhaps you should google this kit, or search on detailingworld about it. A good and cheap alternative is:

http://www.elitecarcare.co.uk/elite-spray-and-clay-kit-fine-grade.php

Dodo Juice Born slippy + yellow fine Poly clay

not a bad price just bet postage will sting, but then again i can get a meguires one for 25 :/

jd just a quick one your opinion on a halfords own brand clay kit, its on a tenner is it worth a go?

No ta!

This, but I don't like the Born Slippy lube - fine it too expensive. Megs No16 is my weapon of choice. Stick to the Megs Quick Clay Kit lad. At least you get some decent lube, clay and MFs.

Megs. Done.
