Bugatti Veyron to run at Prescott Hillclimb

Just read this in the Motorsport News,

The Veyron is to be driven by Bugatti's tesy driver and is looking to try and get the current record for Specialist Production Cars over 2 litres, current record is 43-27 set all the way back in 1997 by a Westfield SEiGHT, should be good to see the car up close and driven in anger.

DATE is May 29th for anyone who may be interested in that neck of the woods.

Welcome to 2008 Motoring news. It goes to the 'Le Vie En Bleu' (French car) festival every year. Seen it run up the hill many times. Its so big it s not really designed for the hill. Prescott is owned by the Bugatti owners club. We had Cliosport stand there in the past.

iirc last year there were about 5 Veyrons there.

Senna's old Lotus Renault 1.5 Turbo F1 car was more impressive

Seen this years ago. Looked like a oil tanker negotiating a small stream. Did nothing for me.
