Building Stealth Shelf

I just got some 6 by 9s for my clio and dont really want to have to spend lots of £££ and get a stealth shelf.

I was wondering if you guys have any experience of making them for the clio and could give me some advice on how to make the best one for little £££

DOnt know if it helps, but all I did was cut the orginal shelf then cover it with cloth bought from hi-fi shop, used a staple gun to fix it in place.
