want to paint my bullets silver with the letters staying the same as they are now, which is like a chrome (standard)

How do you go about spraying the background silver but keeping the letters the same? Must be really hard to maskintape off the letters surely?

Also what colour silvers look good on black, any pics of people who have sprayed theirs ?

between each coat wet sand the letters back so the chrome shows through.
before laquering make sure you polish the letters to get rid of any scratches you have made.
idealy you want to be using grade 1500 wet and dry paper.
