are the front bumpers off the Rsi and the 16v the same? if not, how are they different?

ive been offered an Rsi one for about £30 and have been offered a 16v for about £50

The ones of a 16v will be wider to accomadate the wider arches !! If you have 16v arches get the 16v one, if not get the RSi one !!

Erm, the front of a 16v is no wider.. standard bumpers fit onto 16v arches.. the back is different tho.. so dont get a 16v rear bumper if you dont have 16v rear arches.

im not getting the rear bumper - just need to know if the Rsi and 16v Front bumpers are different at all - from the pics ive seen they look a little different but i just wanna make sure

.. so Id get the 16v one.

AFAIK, only the 16v has the arches, the bumpers and the bonnet it has..

I think the valver has a deeper design compared to the Rsi

Mine has the recess where the fogs are, then another recess next to them then the centre cut out section under the number plate.

Come to think of it, arent the Rsis all phase 3s?

If thats the case then the bumpers are totally different, phase 3s have the grille built in to the bumper and are much more rounder and smoother.

no you can get rsi on a phase 2 as well.in fact the phase 2 rsi is probably more commen,only seen a few phase 3 but plenty of phase 2.

yeah, the Rsi im looking at is a phase 2 but if the bumpers are different then ill go with the 16v bumper and arches and im getting the bonnet and lights off the Rsi - there shouldnt be any problem wih these fitting together should there?

I cant see how the lights would be different.. and the bonnet would be the same apart from no bulge!
