Burning Smell from heaters

Hi peeps

ive got a burning smell coming from the heaters does any one have the same problem or even no where it is coming from?

Not just burnt dust if it hasn't been used for a while?

Check the heater matrix - take off the scuttle panel on the dirvers side and i think there is three screws/bolts to revoe the lid check the filter etc...
