Buzzing Noise!!

Own a Clio 16V, everytime time i take it over 4000revs a lound buzzing sound starts, sounds like its coming from near the dash! The guy down the local garage hasnt got a clue what it is, but assured me it was nothing major!! Anyone else had this problem or knows any cures??
