i know that tom,ill rephrase it,why are you going from a 172 to a valver matey.

I wouldnt class it as a step down, i used to have a valver when i was 18 it wasnt the best example around - 90K, white and a rusty tailgate and arches, but it was still just as much fun as my 172.

I know fisrt hand that there not as quick but i dont know of anything else for the money that can still bring a smile to my face, except maybe a pug 205 GTI. - i drive because i love driving not because i have to.

I think theres a company in Southampton too who import ITRs. Met them at Thruxton recently and they do a stripped out version if your interested - looked great in Hondas championship white!

what about a 106 GTI, quite cheap look okay and think they do 8.3 0-62

My mates got a black 106GTI with a twin headlamp conversion to the front its a cracking little car. I could do with the bigger engine in the valver for towing my jetski.
