HOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!

Finally got rid of the ditchfinders!

Hello Toyo Proxes T1R's!
£215 fitted for four :D

Proxes (or poxies as renamed by cliosport.net) don't seem to get much of a good reception on here. Real shame as you can them dirt cheap everywhere, guess there's a reason for that.

they wear super quick imo. good in the dry . not so good in the wet (but then what is lol )

Michelin Pilot Exaltos are excellent in the wet :) I found Toyos good in the dry , it's just when it was wet they didn't instill any confidence .

They'll do for the summer :)

Can't grumble for the price. Even though they 'aint scrubbed in yet they feel a lot more keyed in to the road. The Nankangs felt like they skittered all over any surface. Proxes already feel much more planted. Looking forward to finding out what they're like in the dry. Was going to go for Parada's, but they don't do them in the right size for the 172 apparently...

Anyhow, it doesn't matter what tyre you buy, there's always someone who hates 'em and someone who rates 'em. :)

Can use 205 or 195 for 172 wheels,so paradas will have right tyres

I had Toyo's on my last car on 17s, loved them :)

What difference will 205 make over the 195 on 172 rims?
