C-CAR swopping insurance

i may have to take my car into renault next week for a couple of days so i might have a C Car, but now you have to insure it yourself so i am led to belive.

im with elephant has anybody done this if so did they charge you?

elephant do charge you

usually not much more than £25, but that was swapping a 1.6 16v mk4 golf, for a 1.9SDi Polo (same with 1.4 lupo)

When did this come into effect?

Last time I got a C Car, it was under thier insurance, which they werent paticularly happy about.

i think it has been around for a while they said it is covered under their insurance but it is 3rd party only so you should really upgrade it with your own insurance to fully comp.
