Call forwarding - landline to mobile

iv recently setup a new business, but I am still working in my current full time job, and plan to for a while yet!

We have an office, and we are having a BT business landline fitted over the next 2 weeks.

But as we arent going to be there that often at the moment, I was wondering how hard it was to divert calls to my mobile when people ring the landline? either after so many rings, or that can be switched off when we are in the office?

If your having the BT business landline thing then you should be able to divert. The phones at my old place could be diverted to any number (had to dial 9 to get outside line). Obviously thats if the phone lets you do that

you have 3 options and they are all diverts.

basic call divert - is where you use *21* from the actual office phone and set it up so calls can be diverted to your mobile. you can either have all calls or calls when busy or after so many rings, its up to you.

admin divert - is where BT actually control the divert at their end so you would have to liase with them to turn it on or off.

and the final one is a smart divert where by you call a local service number (will start with the same std code as yours) and you will use a PIN number which will allow you to set the divert form your line to your mobile. so tecnically you can call from your mobile to the re route serivce, put in your PIN and then set the divert to your mobile.

lol i thought so. well i start a new job next month and I will be dealing with accounts that have a min spend of 10k per month!!!!

and soon we will be getting a popular fast food company (not to name any names) and that has the potential to spend anything up to and over 1 million per month
