the cars new, the cars also crap (be honest here) from a tuning point of view.
The focus and saxo and corsa market is larger so companies are gonna cater for them and not little market cars like these are. And yes they can afford to forget about you as the revenue from the other makes more than makes up for it.
Why did you choose cams? Are you a max power boy? Not being offensive here btw!
the cam is the thing that pushes your valves up and down (well, not directly but same principle...). cambelt = the the thing that times your cam with the bottom end (pistons), so that the valves open n close at the right time in relation to the pistons.
hes talking about a diff profile of cam,not too up on the diff cams you can get but basically you can get higher-lift cams (vlaves open further) and longer duration cams which mean valves are open for longer, both of which allowing more in/out.
kickin in is something called coming "on cam"
bad idling means it sometimes sounds lumpy at low revs, again not too sure think its a misfire beacuse of the altered cam profile.
on an energy lump dont do cams for it, chris_h *i think* said theres only about 1-2mm lift on the eccentric lobe part so not much room to work with - that right?
OH sh*t, you really have no clue about them or rather it in your car.
A camshaft controls the opening and closing of your valves, all engines need one, except 2 stroke piston ports.........but thats besides the topic.

a cam is a camshaft.
Basically it opens the valves.
Its driven at half engine speed and live in the head (on your/new cars)
You have been ill informed of the high speed kicks etc buy people whpo dont know anything, like magazines for instance.
Its rather complicated and I would rather not get into it.
Ill have you know that the exhaust is still blowing! lol Needs a new box, you shoudl hear the beast now, had to block off the hot air pipe and chopped a massive section out of the airbox, Soneji was laughign his arse off, it sounds great tho!
Better ammo for you would have been the wheel bearing I have had sitting on my desk for over a year and the gearbox thats in a black bin bag under my desk also for over a year! lol
ahhhhhh..............
but us mechanics generally dont have much time during our days, i mean, with all that tea to drink, biscuts to eat, TV to giggle at or radio 1 blasting..................not to mention automotive fluids are cacinogenic, so i like to get as little dirt on me as possible.
