no attitude fella, just telling the truth, you need all 3 tools to do it properly, people think you only need the 1 "C" cam tool you mention, they're wrong, you must use all 3

hey it keeps me in business redoing other garages c**k ups!

pulley tool is for girls, cam and krank tool is fine

I can't disagree with that strongly enough. The ends of the cam are not strong enough to hold the tightening torque, serious danger of breaking them, and you need to hold the pulleys still or they move out of the correct timing position when being torqued up. We spent a good 2 or so hours trying different ways and cheats just to see exactly what happens, and the only way to get it right is with all the tools

Ive done it both ways and to get it spot on the pulley tool is a must. The timing will always be a little out if not used (if nothing breaks doing the job)

Correct timing makes a huge difference, my cambelt was done at a small garage by a previous owner. The car didnt pull aswell as others id driven and when it was rollered it only had 143bhp @ fly. After a new belt set up spot on it was 175+. Yes it was a diferent rolling road and the car had a filter and exhaust second time around but 30+ horse power cant be put down to these. Plus the ass dyno never lies.

toolS

there's 3 in total

cam tool
pulley tool
crank tool

you need all 3 to do it PROPERLY
Is the cam tool the "pins", the pulley the metal plate thing and the crack tool the horse shoe? (All technical terms obviously).

Also why the hell are you lot up at those sort of hours and posting? PMSL
