Cambelt Help!!

Hi all i have just purchased a 172 cup swapped it for my corsa, and the guy said the previous owner had the cambelt done by a friend last year, is there any way i can check if this has been done? it didnt put me off too much cause the cars in good condition but was wondering if i could check in any way?
also are there anyone round the middlesbrough area who can change cambelts on the clios? or know of any good people who i should speak to thats if it does need changing?

Don't think there really is a definitive way to tell if it's been changed or not. I would get it done again for piece of mind.

will it be expensive with mine been a cup? ano it doesnt have air con so heard thats a little cheaper

Not as expensive as a normal 172 since it's not got air con. Look in the traders section for prices mate.

If you're unsure, always best to get it done. Definitely worth the money for the peace of mind.
