Cambelt tool

Hi im getting the cambelt done soon and im getting all the parts together iv got the cambelt kit and the aux belt kit but i need the cambelt tool ? can anyone show which one i need and where i can buy it ? it would be much appreciated.

sealey, laser, all of the mickey mouse ones are crap, the plates bend and they don't have the pulley tool

The laser one worked OK for me, didn't seem to bend. You have to get the pulley tool plus the modified pinion to fit over the VVT pulley from Renault AFAIK. I paid about 85 for the pulley locking tool and pinion. About 40 for the cam locking tool off ebay I think.

Walk into Renault and ask to borrow the tools. Worked for me










I knew the guy quite well though...
